A Ring of Endless Light by Madeleine L'Engle
Anything by P.G. Wodehouse if you want a laugh! I recommend Uncle Fred In The Springtime.
Indian in the cuboard series? James Harriet series? How to Be popular by Meg Cabot?
Hey Katie, idk if you've read them yet, but they're called the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. The books are Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr (in that order). Also the Dakota Moon books (can't remember who wrote them), The Maximum Ride books by James Patterson, and The Shakespeare Stealer Books (not entirely sure about the series name or the author, it's been a while since I read them). Hope it helps!
