5 Quick Takes Saturday, Vol. 2

It's Valentine's Day! For the last few days, I've been really dreading it, but now that it's here, I'm pretty happy! Although I don't have a boy to show me love, my sister and parents sure did today! My friend is having her sweet sixteen next month, and we went shopping at this store, DEB for a dress. I got a beautiful one and I LOVE it!

^^^ I tried that dress on and LOVED it, but it was a halter and I'm really not into those. :p













Also, instead of the blue-ness, it was black stuff and it didn't work on my skintone, since I'm pretty much really pale.

This is kinda like my dress, only like, it's not quite like that. It's not a halter, and it's more like a saphire-y color. But, It's like shorter in the front and than goes longer in the back. It's pretty swe-eet. ---->

Right now, my sister, Dad and I are watching National Treasure. I can remember the first time I saw it. It was my parents' anniversary and we went out to dinner than went to see it. My dad and I thought it was the coolest thing EVER.

When we went to DC the first time, I insisted on going to the National Archives just cuz they were there. I also had to get a pick sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, just like Riley and Ben. :D

I went to Claire's the other night, and got this AMAZING bag!!! It's like a messenger bag, with a bunch of PEACE signs on it!!! Those who know me IRL know that I am a hippy at heart and have a funny obsession with peace signs. :D

My parents bought me SPANISH and ALL CHOCOLATE conversation hearts!! They. Are. Amazing. o.O

My mom is going to Florida with my aunts and gramma two weeks before I am. Except SHE'S probably going to Disney. Without me. :(

Five Quick Takes Saturday: Vol 1

One of my favorite TV shows of all time is Little House on The Prairie. I remember watching it when I was younger, and being mad because it wasn't like the books, which I grew up reading. Now, I'm sort of overly obsessed. I have the Sixth and Eighth Seasons on DVD and I actually spent all day watching Season 8 yesterday.

I LOVE Audrey Hepburn. I think she is really a talented actress. My favorite movie with her is "Sabrina". It's actually not that well known, but, it's totally AMAZING. It's a great Cinderella story and Audrey is GORGEOUS in it. I actually don't like My Fair Lady that much. It's okay, but it's not one of my favorites. And I'm not allowed to watch Breakfast At Tiffany's.

I'm a sophomore in highschool, but I'm already looking at colleges. Right now, the ones that speak out to me are Christendom, Magdalen, The Franciscan University of Steubenville and Ave Maria. Although, since I love to act, I'd love to go to NYU to get a major in dramatics or something. But, my faith is really important to me, so I want to go to a good, Catholic college. Like, one that's not only Catholic in name, but in what they teach too.

I just finished my first story! I was inspired while listening to Taylor Swift's new CD, Fearless. It was based off the song, "You Belong With Me". It's basically about a girl who's in love with her best friend, who is dating a bratty girl. I'm really proud of it. :)

I LOVE old movies. Quiet Man, Psycho, Vertigo, Romeo & Juliet, Funny Face, McClintock, Singin' In The Rain, The Bells of Saint Mary's, Yours Mine and Ours, Christmas in Connecticut, 12 Angry Man and It's A Wonderful Life are just a few of my favorites. :)
