The things that break a heart.

A few months ago, Karen over at Nine Texans, sent me a group invite on Facebook. The name of the group was something along the lines of "Prayer Group for Mayah and Faith"

Mayah is a 23 single mom who's beautiful baby daughter, Faith, was born with a rare condition in which she was born without a brain.

They didn't expect Faith to make it full term, but she did. She's now over six weeks old and still breathing. This is truly a miracle. The doctors cannot explain it.

Today I was looking at some other blogs of other families who's children had this condition. Sadly, most weren't as lucky as Faith and Mayah and didn't live very long.

Please keep Faith and Mayah in your prayers, and all families who are expecting special children. May God comfort them. Amen.

RIP Natasha Richardson :(

For the last hour, rumors have been flying that Natasha Richardson, who was just in a fatal skiing accident, passed on. After looking on at least 10 different official websites, it came up on AOL.

RIP Natasha Richardson!

Please pray for Jeff, my friend Tess' father who just passed away from cancer this morning. Tess is playing Lady McBeth in McBeth, and she's a wonderful girl. Please pray for her family as they go through this hard time.

Hi everyone! Please keep my uncle's father in your prayers. He just passed away last night.

No, it's not my grandfather. It's my mom's younger sister's husband's father. So that makes him my... I don't know.

But he was a GREAT guy! Always smiling and laughing. I remember meeting him a couple times.

Please pray for his soul and for my aunt Patty and Uncle Jeff and my cousins, Scott and Shannon. Also pray for Uncle Jeff's mother and siblings during this hard time.

O Gentlest Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor souls, have mercy on the soul of thy departed servant, Ray. Be not severe in thy judgement but let some drops of thy precious blood fall upon the purifying flame, and do thou, O merciful Savior, send thy angels to conduct thy departed servant to a place of refreshment, light and peace. Amen.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Merciful Jesus, grant eternal rest.
