I'm sorry! My Twilight obsession is... not good. Not good at all. It's getting to the point that my Harry Potter obsession was five years ago. And those who know my IRL, that's scary. Very scary. Anyway, I was watching random Twilight-y things on Youtube, and I decided that I would make a better Bella than Kristen Stewart. At least from what I saw. Of course, reading the book for the first time a week ago, I saw myself as Bella.... and Robert Pattinson as Edward. :p He was perfectly cast.

Edward: ................ A while.

Book Review: Love Comes Softly

Cautions: They talk about Marty being pregnant, the loss of a husband or wife, a girl says she is pregnant to marry a "bad boy", a girl is beaten to death.

Personal Opinion: WOW! This is the best book I've read in a long time! I loved everything about it! The characters, the writing style, the plot, everything is perfection! I was crying, laughing, and sighing along with the characters. The writing style was really descriptive. Oke used this awesome phrase I've never heard before: Dad-burn. I am SO saying that in my everyday life now. What I also loved about it was that she wrote exactly how they spoke. So, when Marty and Clark say just, In the book it's put as "jest". Or your is "yer". So, Your cow is just fine was "Yer cow is jest fine." It's such an awesome book... I'm already begging my mom to take me to the library so I can get the sequel!

Random tidbit: There was an AMAZING movie made a couple of years ago with Katherine Heigl... It's REALLY good. It was directed by Michael Landon, Jr. (Yes, Michael Landon's son. He directs the best inspirational movies..) So, go watch it!

Personal Opinion: It was really.... odd. I was definitely not expecting this. At least it wasn't as weird as Jinx (which, by the way, is SO weird. don't read it. just don't). But it was entertaining and funny. I think I like some of Meg's other books better though. Like The Princess Diaries, Pants on Fire, How to Be Popular, and All American Girl (NOT the sequel.)

The Big E

Last time I said the Phrase, "The Big E" online, someone asked, "Is it an elephant?"

To answer that.... mature question, no. The Big E is kinda like a state fair, only for all of New England. It's SOOOO much fun! They have concerts (This year, Danity Kane, Natasha Bedingfield, Ashley Gearing, Fergie and Jordin Sparks were all part of the entertainment. They've also had O-Town, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, etc. etc.), AMAZING food (you haven't lived until you had clam chowder from Massachusetts.), awesome exhibits (All this cool farm stuff), a buncha fun rides (Funny story bout that... but I'll tell about it later in the post) and PARADES!!

Although, it was kinda embarassing being there since my mom decided that she should bring her cane. *facepalm* Sarah, Dad and I would be walking, then we'd look back and notice that my mom was a mile behind us. *sigh* There was this wicked awesome jewelery place there that sold all these sweet earrings. Sarah got a cuff (it looks like you have a hoop in your cartlidge, but it's just a clip-on thing) and I got these BEEEEAAAAUTIFUL swirly earrings.

OK. About the funny story. When we got to the rides section, Sarah and I took Dad's cell and went wondering. We saw a ride that looked like the scrambler. We were like, OMIGOSH!! AHH! So we get in line and are there right in time before the ride starts. We get buckled in, and aren't paying attention to ANYTHING and just talking. Then the ride starts going up. We don't notice. We're just blabbing. Blah blah blahhh. All of the sudden, we're pretty much upside down. We were both like, "This isn't the scrambler...." Soooo we're screaming our heads off, and I'm threatning to kill Sarah. I'm sure it was an amusing sight. But, we decided to go on again, and when you expect it, it's actually really fun.


So, that's it for now. I'm reading this AMAZING book called Captivating by Stasi and John Ethridge. You. Must. Read. It. It ROCKS!

Cautions: Where do I start? Teen sex, teen pregnancy, profane language....
If you like this book, you might also like . . . I have NO idea.
Personal Opinion: I honestly wish I never read this book. It depressed me soo much. And it was SO inappropriate. So, I would highly highly highly highly HIGHLY recommend you NOT reading this. Please. For your own good.

Randomosity

Hi ya'll!

I got the Fairy Tale Novels in the mail a couple days ago, and all I can say is, "THEY ARE AMAZING!!!" I couldn't put any of them down! I can't wait to read them again! The characters were awesome, I loved the writing style, and the Catholic tidbits that were thrown in ROCKED!

I love this book! I heard about it online and really wanted to read it (This was about the time that I became interested in the prolife movement).

About a year later, I found out that you could read the boook online! YAY! So, I encourage you to read this beautiful beautiful book by Regina Doman.

Happy Belated Birthday to me...

Hey everyone!

GREAT NEWS!!

Today, I got a package in the mail. And written on it was: "Katie, we found it!" and the names of two of the counselors at the Work camp i went to!! IT WAS MY CAMERA!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!

Yesterday was my birthday, so what a great birthday present!!! I am SOOO happy! For my birthday, my parents ordered me some books by Regina Doman.

Actually, more specifically, the Fairy Tale Novels.

I'm REALLY excited. I've been wanting to read these books for a longg time <33

Book Day

Today we went to the Library and I got a gazlillion million books. As always. And then, we went to the Historical Society and whatcha know? They're having a tag sale... WITH BOOKS!! MUAHAHA! I got four Beverly Lewis books and Katie got two. It was. AWESOME!!

Sarah, Confirmation, Reading, Acting, LHOP and knitting OH MY!!

Sarah should just move into the ER. For real. We just had another "adventure" on Monday night when the trunk of our station wagon decided to crash down onto her. Ouuchhhh. She sprained her neck, has a back contusion, and a mild head injury. Her back hurts too much to walk, so she gets a wheel chair. Woweth.

Our Confirmation is tomorrow at 7:30!!!! YIPPEE!! I can't wait!! Please pray to St. Maria Goretti (Sarah's Confirmation saint) for complete healing. And if anyone is wondering, I chose St. Therese of Lisieux to be my Confirmation saint.

I'm reading lots (As usual...). I just found these awesome books called "The Chicks with Sticks"!! It combines three of my favorite things. Friends, knitting, AND A GOOD BOOK!! I'm on the second one. I finished the beautiful baby blanket for my cousin Debbie's daughter Sophia. It's pwitty and soft and pink. :D I'm still making billions of scarves for Aunt Patty. I've made about five so far. After I'm done with those, I'm gonna make another scrap blanket.

I'm watching Romeo and Juliet and blogging. At the same time. I sure am something. :) Update on Sarah: I just talked to mom and she's in excruciating pain. :( She's sleeping to keep the pain away. Poor girl..

Yesterday I went to the Library. Got a gazillion books, one of them being Romeo's Ex: Rosaline's Story by Lisa Fiedler. I'm on the second chapter, and it's awesome!!! I really like it, especially since we're doing Romeo and Juliet.

Another book I got was The Scarlett Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I've heard great things about that book from my friend Katherine's mom Kathy. I'm really enjoying it so far.
