Ooh-La la!

The homeschoolers in TJS get to do a special performance at a seniors' day center.

There are eight of us, and we're doing two scenes, one from "As You Like It" and the other from "Much Ado About Nothing". Sarah and I are Conrade and Borachio in Much Ado! Ben (Tybalt in R&J) is Dogberry, who he actually played when TJS did Much Ado the year before last, Kristen (The nurse in R&J and Theseus in Dream) is Verges and Rita is the Sexton. Jeff (Romeo) is Orlando in AYLI, Sara (Fairy and Lady Montague) is Rosalind, Sam is Silvius and Annie is Phebe.

More later! But we're doing it next week and we only have one rehearsal, so I have to get memorizing! Laters!

Finally getting a Halloween Costume and the play that I will be performing in :)

I got my halloween costume yesterday! I'm gonna be a (drumroll, please) GO-GO GIRL!! YAY!! The costume is very cute. It's a knee length turtleneck dress. I'm going to wear white leggings with it, and try to find a pink go-go girl wig and cheap go-go boots. I'm gonna try to put some piccies up. Yay!

And.... Last Night, Kelly told us the play we're doing, and the casting. ARE YOU READY FOR THIS!! Drumroll, Please. BUMMMBADAMBUMMBADUMMM!!

MACBETH!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!! It's one of my favorite plays so I am sooo excited!! I'm playing the Third Witch!! YES!! I REALLY wanted to be a witch, So I'm really psyched! Jess (Juliet) and I wanted to be witches, but alas... Jess did not get the part of a witch. But, she DID get the part of the first murderer... Haha... She is soo funny. She was like, "YES!!! I get to be a bloodthirsty murderer..." Who knew someone could go from being sweet, innocent, meek Juliet to a murderer? Heh. Not me, for one!

Anyway, MacBeth will be played by Ben (Tybalt) and Tyler (Bottom and Mercutio). They're going to be soo AWESOME!! Kelly had to make some roles a split cast becasue our group is becoming soo big. My fellow witches will be played by Megan (Lady Capulet and Titania) and my sister Sarah (Montague and Lysander). Lady MacBeth will be played by Erica and Tess, both newbies, but both AMAZING actresses.

I better get going, but don't forget to read your Shakespeare!

It's all over....

The performances of Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream went really well. Standing ovations for all the performances!! Here are some pictures!

My Family Tree

Well, I've been wanting to do it for a LONG time, and I've finally done it!! MY FAMILY TREE!!!

I don't have that much info, but my Auntie was a big help and found some of my great-grandparents birth certificates and death certificates. I'm so happy my Grandpa kept all this stuff and my family didn't just throw it all away!!!

I found out the names of two of my great-great grandparents' names which was very cool. I also found out my great grandfather changed his name!! Very interesting.


Sarah update: ER last night. Third time for the same thing. Stupid doctors.

OH!! And my Shakespeare group was in the newspaper today, and they got a great picture of my beautiful (and annoying) sister Sarah!! That was the last day she felt really good. And that night she went to the ER. I haven't seen her smile like she is in the picture for so long. :)
